This election was probably the most nauseating of all in my 50 years. The negative campains were just aweful. I'm not surprised to see the Democrates taking the House. I think that the "War on Terrorism" has put americans in an action situation and they acted yesterday. As a nationa and here in Ohio I know people people wanted change, they wanted accountability and they wanted answers. I believe all of that is coming. I don't this nation is going to continue to allow soldiers to die at the rate they are dying in Iraq. We have so many issues here in this nations that need attention, we have to start here and work our way over seas, not the other way around. It's time to put America first and take care of the people here.
Unfortunately, that's the exact thing the "War on Terror" is doing. It's protecting America and "taking care of the people here". Yeah, it's tough to see results when all we here in the media is the dead count from Iraq. Yet, I still believe in the ulimate or greater good that this "war" is accomplishing. It is hopefully killing the organization efforts of terrorism and preventing future attacks on American soil.
Another unfortunate thing...North Korea and Iran. How will these "terrorists" be dealt with? If we abandon Iraq now, Iran becomes the ultimate power in the Middle East.
