Growing up, Ken Griffey Jr. was my favorite baseball player. Sadly, my interest in baseball has waned mainly as a result of the steroid era. With that said, Ken Griffey Jr.'s 600th homerun didn't hold the same level of significance as it once might have. Nonetheless I was gripped with the nostalgia of it all when I read an article titled 600 Words for Junior. It's pretty sweet that he did so in a Cincinnati Reds uniform, the city that he, and I, grew up in.
